Not a whole lot happening today....it is technically my "day off" and I played tennis (we won) :) . This afternoon I was purging and preparing for the Community Garage Sale this weekend and realized that I didn't have a lot of Blog-worthy info to share.....but....I do want to share this neckalce with you. I made this one last Sunday and thought you might like a little inspiration. The design is simple really....just put your beads on headpins and make "shepard's hooks" on each of them and then attach to your chain in the desired location. I do find it helpful to do a necklace like this on a bodyform or necklace display so I get a precise placement. I just used various beads I had that felt "autumnal" and then wire wrapped the turquoise to the chain.
If you have some beads, chain, and a great focal bead then you have what it takes to make this piece happen!! Give it a try and email me your interpretation at renegadegirl1@aol.com and I will post it on my blog!!! Can't wait to see what some of you come up with....
