Summer Nights & Summer Camp

Beginning June 8th...we will have

NEW Summer STORE HOURS!! 

Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat. 10-6pm and Sun 12-5pm

Tues & Thurs 10-8pm (we may, on occasion, extend to 9pm based on scheduled events)

On our extended hour nights we will often schedule demos and workshops to teach you new techniques for Beading & Scrapbooking!!

 

We are bringing back the Crop Night!  Each month we will schedule a Saturday Night Crop to give you an opportunity to catch up on your layouts/scrapbooks or to create a project. 

**Beaders are welcome to come too!  We always have room to bead!!  :)

 

"All About Me" 

Photo Scavenger Hunt Summer Camp

 

Campers will be given specific topics to photograph for their album about their Community, Home, Themselves, & Found Art. 

 

Please be sure that your camper takes the photos themselves...it is part of the creative process we are teaching them! :)  They will bring those photos to camp and then use them to create a layout for each topic.

 

We will use the American Crafts  8.5 x 11 Modern Album (pictured) to create the "All About Me" scrapbook.  A sample layout for each topic will be available as well as optional embellishments/papers so they can personalize them and put their own creative mark on each layout.  Monday thru Thursday they will be doing the layouts and then on Friday they will decorate the album and create the "Title Page" & "Reflection Page". 

 

Campers need to bring their lunch Mon. - Thur. and then on Friday we will have a Pizza Party (included) and an "Album Expo" so parents can come in and view all of the finished albums. 

 

All supplies are included in the cost of the camp with the exception of a paper trimmer.  Each child will need to bring a paper trimmer to camp.

 

Each camper will recieve a "Camp Essentials" pack which includes the album, adhesive, a journaling pen and a few other goodies!   Campers will be given a color choice for their album at time of sign-up. 

 

 

There are two ways to pay for camp:

1. Pay in total at sign-up and receive a $20 Gift Card to use on a future purchase
2. Pay 50% at sign-up and 50% on the first day of camp ( if tuition is not paid in full on first day of camp; participation will not be possible)

$50 of camp costs will be non-refundable.
